So, when I was a girl I always wanted bright blue eyes with my dark hair. I thought I would be so much prettier. Instead I was blessed with dark brown eyes. However, once I hit puberty my eyes changed to a strange hazel, brown, green color (depends on what I am wearing).
When I met Brad and gazed into his bright blue eyes (which won best eyes in high school), I knew if I married him my chances for having a blue eyed brown haired child was pretty good. Well, I now have 4 different hair/eye combinations. It took me four kids to get that "perfect" combination. The thing is, I now can't tell you what is perfect. I think all of my children are beautiful in their much different looks. Here are some pictures I took highlighting their different eye colors. I did not enhance the colors at all. I just made the rest black and white and their real eye colors stand out.

Nighttime
So, nighttime does crazy things to people. It seems like the sun goes down and a new side of people emerge. For some that means they turn into zombies and have to go straight to bed. For others the day has just begun and they are ready for some fun. For my children....well, it is like Jekel and Hyde in little bodies. My once very obedient and sweet children turn into little well you know. They are more hyper than at any other time of day, their hearing seems to be at a minimum and let's not even talk about their comprehension which goes out the window. For some reason the words "Stay in bed" seems to trigger in their head.....yell, scream, laugh, go to everyone elses bed, I need the bathroom, I need a drink, but "but mom, you didn't......". Yeah, the list goes on and on.
So, what is a mom to do? This week....well, this week will be interesting. Most nights when I have had it with the games Brad steps in to be the general and gets them to stay in bed. For some reason the kids know when the nostrils are flaring their buns better stay where they were put. Unfortunately for me and the children the nostrils are only seen via the internet and our web cam. I don't think they will have the same effect when the general belonging to them is in China for work. So, all I can say is wish us luck in the Bell household and Brad you better get home quick....before I turn into some unmentionable thing.
